The project Community Force takes account of the productive potential of excluded groups in majority societies. These potentials might be used in a socio-political way to prevent poverty and to overcome exclusion. The expression community implies a development of social strategies and organisational forms to support and help each other to protect own interests.

   General conditions:
Duration: 2 years (from October 2005 to September 2007) - Partners

   Line of action:

   First year
The first goals of this project are to find the special strengths and qualities of particular social networks of the selected communities in the partner countries. Several transnational exchanges between the partners will complete this analysis. The results of the first year will be documented in an English study "Community Force".

   Second year
In the second year the study's socio-political aspects and their consequences for the European social policy will be discussed on a transnational level and with an international circle of people from different social fields. To submit these intentions workshops and round-table discussions will be organised.
